The DKP181 is a handy planer perfect for shortening interior doors or narrowing panels and mouldings. It can achieve a planing depth of up to 3 mm and a planing width of up to 82 mm. Its speed and capacity are unmatched in its class. The machine has a thumb wheel, which allows hassle-free depth adjustment. The easy-to-read scale allows you to work accurately with it. For added convenience, chip removal can take place to either side of the tool.The planer can be easily connected to Makita hoovers and dust bags. Auto-start Wireless Technology (AWS) allows the hoover to be switched on with the planer's on/off switch. This reduces dust, noise and cords in the workplace, making working with the DKP181 extra clean and safe.
